I hope everyone has been checking out the SBKC blog as well as the designer blogs, but right now I want to focus on one particular aspect of the SBKC blog; tutorials. I've choosen three flower tutorials from the blog and linked you up below. Choose one and use it on a LO, card or altered project then upload it to the gallery. Once you are done link up your LO in this post and let us know which technique you chose.

I wanted to do the heat embossed flower since I saw that post. I'll have to work on that!!

I tried the glimmer mist posey tutorial....these are so cute and hopefully tomorrow I'll try more, but for now I tried out one on a Valentine's Day card...

I love that glimmer mist posie on that card! CUTE!!
I created a handcut embossed paper flower and showcased it on this card. I love the way it turned out! I used holographic embossing powder, so it has a little bit of sparkle to it. You cannot really see that in the photo except for a small part on the left.

Thank you for the kind comments! Everyone's entries are beautiful! This was a great challenge. Thanks for the great tutorials- just made some more posies because they are just so versatile and cute! Think I have a new staple in my scrapbag arsenal! LOL  |
